I played a game called street legal racing redline for a while a few years ago. It was pretty old, but it's freeware now, there are mods for a lot of cars, and the damage/car building still holds up pretty well today

Haha, nice. I had a lot of trouble getting mods to work on my laptop, but getting the normal game to run didn't cause me too many problems from what I remember

Rigs of Rods.
Fly airplanes, pilot boats, crash everything. Realtime physics with realistic crashs. If your savvy with notepad you can also limitlessly alter suspension/motor perimeters.
The entire network of cars and maps are user generarated. If your interested in the cars type,”showroom” into the ROR site.

Yes this is awesome. And if you really like it, you can buy the new version of the game, BeamNG.drive.
